It is very helpful to create a routine. This doesn’t have to be a complicated task or time-consuming. It needs some planning as well as discipline. It is important to remember a routine is quite a personalised thing and what works for others may not work for me and vice versa.

Things like work commitments, family commitments and other things can affect your routine so it has to be personalised but what is pertinent is that once it is created, we try our best to stick to it no matter what. This will help us achieve our goals more efficiently and give us a better sense of satisfaction. It will also help us to organise ourselves.

Set your own goals and expectations.

Setting our own goals and expectations is as essential as creating our routine and sticking to it. This helps in focussing our efforts on the relevant things and keeping ourselves organised. It also reduces the risks of failure and disappointment. The goal setting helps us in monitoring our progress so we can track how much we have come and how much more to go.

Setting our boundaries is important so that we don’t overstretch ourselves and are realistic with our expectations.

Be conscious of your progress and also of anything that distracts you. It is important to realise that results may take time and you keep yourself motivated.

Connect with like-minded people. It helps to share and network. But don’t depend on them for your happiness.

At the end of the day, having the desire, creating routines, setting up realistic goals, setting boundaries, celebrating milestones, and having strict discipline is what will lead you to attain a successful, happy, and blissful life.
